The children have been waiting for me to make this DE-lish treat since they heard about it last summer at the Fair. So today we spent time mixing and funneling into a pot of HOT oil. So, what do you think, sound the best, huh? Okay, before anyone says how awful it is for my

So, I trimmed a coffee filter to insert into the coca-cola cups (4 for $1 at the Dollar Tree) to absorb any excess oils, fried the batter funnel-cake style and topped with powdered sugar.
Can't you see how much Christopher loved them?! White tipped

how to make coke even better....fry it!!! ;) Sweet blog...
Yummy! Can I get the recipe for a fun family night coming up? Thanks...
Deep-Fried Coca Cola
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 1/2 cups Coca Cola
Oil for deep frying
powdered sugar or:
1 cup Coca Cola syrup
whipped cream
maraschino cherries
Mix together the flour and baking powder, add eggs and coke, stir til smooth.
Fry in oil, about 1/3-1/2 cup at a time, until rich golden brown, turning once. (about 1 min per side) Drain for a minute on a paper towel and place into coffee-filter cones and large coke glass- if wanted...
tips:
If the batter thickens as it sits add more coke. When frying I like to put the batter into a pitcher and pour, or a squeeze bottle (like ketchup)and move in a swift circular motion. Really it just makes a big crunchy blob...YUMM-O! I also double this recipe.
