Every pastor's wife will agree...
We don't mind repurposing funeral flowers. Really. It's okay to give the overflow of flowers to us. Our parsonages (especially when we have spring fever) love the lift of color. Thank you for thinking of us!
Agreed, the Rev. almost never buys me flowers, but we have gone through spurts where my house was abloom. I have even learned how to re-arrange funeral arrangements. I also love funeral cake, but the Rev. often leaves that at church.

This pastor's wife also appreciates leftover funeral salad, cake, and sandwiches--especially on Wednesdays in Lent!
